it is my sisters fault

My sister, who is 3 years older than me, has asked me for a very long time to create a blog and so I am going to try.  She said: "get a cup of coffee and sit down with your computer and get going" thus the name of my blog.
I love coffee, hot or cold with cream and with out.  My dad taught me to make coffee when I was just 8 years old. First you pour water in the kettle and then you turn on the stove, it was a gas stove so I had to lit a match. Dad showed me to strike the match away from me, then turn the knob and stick the match into the flow and puff the stove was lit.  Then you measure the fresh ground coffee with a special spoon and pour it in the filter, then just before the water boils, you pour the water in a coffee cup and then you pour the water from the coffee cup over the ground coffee, make sure you run the water in a circular movement so the water is distributed evenly over the filter. I was so proud when he told me how to make coffee,I remember it clearly. It was on a Saturday afternoon. I can't remember where my mom was but my sister was in our room reading a book. Sometimes when I make coffee I can recall the day my dad took time to teach me to make coffee, the smell of coffee reminds me of his kindness and his patience with me.
My mom got mad that my dad let me lit the stove and work with almost boiling water so he had to promise her he would be by my side every time I was going to make coffee. It was our special time. So I am going to try to make my blog time a cup of coffee time.
